H2, H4 & H6 Proton Exchange Membrane Hydrogen Generators
The H Series hydrogen gas generators are modular, field-upgradeable, and designed to eliminate the need for delivered hydrogen anywhere in the world. A single H6 unit, for example, can supply the equivalent of one and a half jumbo tube trailers per month. Multiple H model systems can be combined for additional capacity with no additional integration costs. With efficiency in mind, H Series PEM Hydrogen Generators are engineered to sense demand and adjust production accordingly, which eliminates the need for tube trailers. Additionally, the H2, H4, and H6 proton exchange membrane hydrogen generator systems provide quiet and steady operation with significant space saving capabilities.
H Series Hydrogen Gas Generator Applications
The H Series proton exchange membrane hydrogen generators can manufacture hydrogen gas on-site, without the need for bulky tanks. Depending on your specific needs, hydrogen generators can be used for a wide range of industrial applications, some of which include:- Gas chromatography carrier gas and fuel gas
- Hydrogen supply for fuel cell
- ICP-MS collision gas
- Hydrogen supply for hydrogenation reactor
- Hydrogen supply for emissions test equipment
- Gas analyzer support gas
- ELCD (conductivity detector) reaction gas
- AED (atomic emission detector) of reaction gas
H Series PEM Hydrogen Generator Specifications
Our H Series proton exchange membrane hydrogen generators utilize a platinum catalyst and PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane) technology to split deionized water into its constituent parts. The proton exchange membrane (PEM) only allows water and positive ions to cross between compartments. The membrane also serves as the electrolyte in the cell, eliminating the need for hazardous liquid electrolytes such as concentrated potassium hydroxide. PEM water electrolysis simply splits pure deionized water (H2O) into its constituent parts, hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2), on either side of the membrane.
